It looks like that already millions of people know about it, but it was only last night, I’ve been introduced to the story of ‘Christian the Lion’ by a friend of mine.
Yes, I know it’s a cheesy short video clip with the cheesy BGM, that makes you doubt, ‘is this really true? ‘ I investigated further… Yes, it is! Christian the lion lived in a flat on London’s King’s Road in the 60s! And later in a few years, thanks to George Adamson, he was successfully introduced into the wild of Africa.
One of the Onagono’s favorite stockists Yemanja in Antwerp has just moved its location. Apparently the space is bigger and situated in a very nice area of the city. It even has a new name! It is called ‘Nouvelle Vague’ meaning ‘New Wave’ in French. “We want to express that we sell new, innovative, original brands” according to Ann the shop owner.
Please pop by if you live in or are visiting Antwerp!
Brandsparent.com – portal for environmentally and socially friendly shopping is one of the great supporters for Onagono. Brandsparent.com was recently awarded by the INTERNET WORLD business (Germany) as the 3rd best internet business idea 2008. Congratulations for their work!
We have some sunflowers in our garden this year. Their yellows bright up the garden nicely but it looks like that they are coming to the end of season.
I realized the other day, that one of them is seriously big. Is this normal? I had to measure it. The stem is about 2m 30cm long and the flower is about 35cm diameter. I decided that it was rather SPECIAL.
Skuchan is about 25cm tall (with her 4 paws on the ground).
Ann, from Yemanja – a boutique in Antwerp, Belgium: one of Onagono’s proud stockists – sent me an email with some images of her window display and LABEL magazine featuring Onagono. Thank you, Ann! I would love to visit there one day…and I will!
I’ve ordered really cool pair of trainers made of organic & Fairtrade cotton from Yemanja. Really looking forward to receiving them…
